How to get to Florence

The Central Railway Station of Santa Maria Novella, located within walking distance from the Cathedral and the Old Bridge and right in front of the Congress Citadel, has direct connections with the other Italian towns
by the new and comfortable highspeed trains.

All the major European towns are linked by direct connections to Florence by the Eurostar trains (Paris, Vienna and Barcelona).

The Congress Centre is centrally located and at walking distance to the majority of hotels, we strongly believe that the use of public transportation will not be necessary or will be used very rarely.

Amerigo Vespucci

Florence International Airport “Amerigo Vespucci” is located only 4 kilometres away from the city centre, it provides direct flights to the main European cities, and also intercontinental connections.

A taxi will reach the city center in 15 minutes, and the Bus running between the airport and railway station in Santa Maria Novella takes about 20 minutes.

The Volainbus Airport Shuttle also connects Florence’s Vespucci Airport to
downtown Florence.

Get around – Firenze card

FirenzeCard is the official museum pass of City of Florence.

It is valid for 72 hours starting from the first entrance and it allows you to enter only once into all the museums of the Circuit and to visit permanent collections and temporary exhibitions.
